CheckoutSometimes,
when buying seemingly good alcohol in a store, you have to deal with the fusel
flavor of yeast in strong drinks. Unfortunately, this flavor can also be found
in natural homemade drinks.
For
example, most novice distillers do not always manage to prepare a decent
product the first time.
This
fragrance is not as easy to remove as we would like, but it is quite possible.
Cleaning the product itself, masking the product in tinctures or rectification
will help.
It is
easier to prevent an unpleasant smell right from the very beginning of the
distillation process. Here are some recommendations:
— Put the
braga on good ingredients. Raw materials, yeast and even water, affect the
taste and smell of the final product.
— Try to do
without sugar or at least invert it.
— Remember,
the best processing of sugar braga is rectification. Distillation of sugar
moonshine is suitable at best for tinctures.
— The braga
should be ripe. Yeast that has not settled to the bottom spoils the final taste
of the product.
— Use clean
appliances.
— If you
are distilling fragrant braga, you should not warm it for more than three
hours.
Follow
these simple rules and get the purest drink.
